B is for Boy!
I recently styled this baby shower. I’m never confident when decorating for boys, but I really like how this turned out.
The daddy-to-be is a huge Yankee fan and one of their friends made this cake. They don’t have a name for baby yet so, Baby Hernandez it was 🙂 The baseball wrapped chocolate and jelly beans are from www.candygalaxy.com.
The little flags on the cupcakes are from Desserts & Designs….super cute!
I made the cupcake stand by wrapping a lid from one of my totes. The bottom is a wrapped can of soup. Easy and inexpensive. I used double sided tape and it peeled right off without damaging anything.
Looks fun right?
I set up “Ballpark Snacks” on these fun white wood containers from HomeGoods.
I found these plastic bags from the dollar bin at Michaels as well.
I made the baseball banner by cutting white circles. I uses a red and black sharpie to draw the lines to make it look like baseballs.
I found these blue plastic bats at Target in the sports section. I put a piece of foam inside a recycled can, wrapped with scrapbook paper and added paper shred to the top. The fun flag sticking out is from Tikkido. She will share how to make them soon. Stay tuned for that tutorial.
A side shot to view all the details 🙂
Drink up tags from Desserts & Designs…..love these!
Get this sign from Desserts & Designs as well.
Thank you gifts for the guests! It was a fun time!
Congrats to the parents to-be!
