Ingredients for Candy Acorns:

  • Hershey Kisses
  • Mini Nutter Butter Cookies
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Icing (optional–can use melted chocolate chips instead)

To assemble, first unwrap the Hershey kisses.  I used some leftover salted caramel buttercream to stick everything together, but I wouldn’t make a batch of icing just for this job.  If I didn’t already have the icing, I’d just melt a few chocolate chips and use that as my glue.

Adhere a mini Nutter Butter cookie on the flat end of the Hershey kiss, and stick a chocolate chip on top of the cookie.  It’s as simple as that.

If you’re using melted chocolate to put the parts together, put the acorns in the fridge for a few minutes to cool down the chocolate and make sure everything sticks together nicely.
