Hello friends! I had the opportunity to be on our local TV show, Arizona Midday last Thursday and I shared these cute puppy love party ideas! Valentine’s Day may be over but, these simple and affordable ideas can be used for a birthday party as well! You can change the colors to blue and brown for a boy or pink and brown for a girl! Here are my tips for you!
First thing I decided to do is pick my color scheme, in this case brown, red and white. I used a red plastic tablecloth for easy clean up, but added one of my polka dots table runners to add some pattern on the table.
I made a chocolate fountain the centerpiece of the table. I didn’t get a cake this time. I love chocolate fountains and all the food choices for dipping and chocolate is brown so it matches my table…..ha!
Details make a big difference. Did you notice the ribbon wrapped around the bowls where the food is? Don’t forget to use free printables for your dessert tables. I had my labels designed by Bird’s Party and you can download them for free from her site.
The party circles on the brown cups look adorable and the cute sign “Soda Pup” ties it all together! Find cute straws for the drinks at Michaels. Notice how I set the cups on a cupcake stand from Party City to add height and level everything on the table.
How adorable are these “pupcorn” boxes and the sign next to it?! You can find the boxes and the standing sign from Party City. I printed the free label from Bird’s Party and used a glue dot to tape on the standing sign.
I found red velvet cupcakes from Hostess at my local grocery store and it saved me the stress of baking! I bought the red hearts cupcake wrappers at Hobby Lobby and inserted free party circles from Bird’s Party….voila! cuteness in 5 minutes! 🙂
And these are TWINKIES!!…Yes! from Hostess too! I took them out of the wrapper and put them on this white dish with a cute heart topper from Hobby Lobby. I added some sprinkles on the dish to make it more festive!
I made some candy skewers and it took me less than 10 minutes to whip these out! I used my plastic acrylic vases from Party City to put them in. I wrapped some cute ribbon and there you go!
A HUGE THANK YOU to my friend Lynda from Story Book Bliss and her hubby who came to give me a hand setting up and reduced my stress! Also, a shot out to Natalie from Natalie Orona Photography who snapped these beautiful photos for me!!
And would you like to watch my live TV segment? There you go my friends! Thank you for all your support, love and comments! I’m off to plan for next segment in a couple of weeks…… yay!!
