Rainbow Party for St. Patrick’s Day

Happy St. Patrick’s Day my friends!! Don’t pinch me….I’m wearing green promise 🙂 I had the opportunity to be on Arizona Midday yesterday to share my last minute party ideas. I feel so lucky friends! I mean, this is my 5th year going on TV to share my ideas. I am truly honored.

So you won’t believe this!…..I was at the grocery store Sunday afternoon about 5pm going down each isle trying to figure out foods and treats to put on my party table. I knew I wanted to do all the rainbow colors so it wasn’t so hard finding the right foods! My segment was on Monday at 12:30pm. I stayed up super late Sunday putting my table together and I truly love how it turned out with such little time. All this to say, you can do it too!!

st patrick's day party

First, I used a white tablecloth and divided the table with rainbow streamers from Party City.

rainbow foods

I got the white plastic platters from Party City to put the snacks on. They are only $1.99! Super deal! You can use these all the time.

RAINBOW desserts

The foods are a good variety of fruits, snacks, candy, chocolate, jello and juice. If you take a look at the table, I did not have cupcakes or a cake! It wasn’t needed, right?

I made a simple rainbow centerpiece for the table instead of going with a cake or cupcakes.

rainbow centerpiece

The centerpiece is a round piece of foam cut in half. I bought some Trix cereal and used my glue gun to glue them on. Found the green vase at Goodwill for .99cents!

rainbow lollipops

I made a cute foam stand for these rainbow lollipops. Found the lollipops at the 99 cents store. You can find the piece of foam at Michaels or Hobby Lobby and just wrap it with rainbow streamers. It took less than 2 minutes!

rainbow party favors

The party favors for the kids are mini cereal boxes and a packet of kool-aid wrapped in a cellophane bag from Party City. I added a free “Lucky Me” party circle from Mimi’s Doll House. So cute right?

I love the rainbow jelly beans and sixlets from Party City! The colors are so fun and vibrant! The plastic bowls and candy scoops are from Party City as well.

I made the cute “LUCKY” banner with paper letters I had cut at my local scrapbook store and the foam shamrocks are from Hobby Lobby.
