Hi friends! I am skipping the link party today to post all about my daughter’s Under the Sea Mermaid birthday party, but come back tomorrow and the link party will be up! I also apologize in advance for any broken links or minor issues with my blog because I have been transferring to another web hosting company and it’s been a bit challenging. Thank you for your patience as everything will be fixed promptly. Are you ready for an overload of Mermaid cuteness?!! Grab a drink and kick back as this will be a long post 🙂
It all started with the invite design from Lillian Hope Designs. If you haven’t worked with Kara, she’s a fabulous designer and so awesome to work with! She created the perfect printables for my daughter’s party and I highly recommend her.
Kara designed this printable Happy Birthday banner and welcome sign! You can purchase them from her etsy shop.
Mermaid Birthday Outfit
Dressing up my birthday girl was on top of the list and I could not be happier with how her outfit turned out! Don’t you love it? We did! Her tank top was custom made by Great Stitch and her skirt was made by Keepsake Konnections.
I loved her necklace from Petite Chic Accessorie. Each little girl got one as well.
Yes! all the little girls got custom made outfits as well…..they looked like true little mermaids!!! I made the flip flops for all the girls. Bought them at Walmart for .99cents and glued flowers on them. As you can see some didn’t stay on very well….there’s no such thing as a perfect party!…ha! THANK YOU so much to my fabulous vendors who designed the perfect outfits for the girls!
Yes, I’m the mom that matches everything even her toes….yikes! 🙂

There was two beautiful mason jars that my friend Marla made for the desserts table. You can find Marla over on Instagram with all her beautiful designs!
I decorated the jars with these pretty colorful picks from Michaels.
This gorgeous sign from Paper+Pop was the main centerpiece on the table. I love how glittery it is. It was beyond perfect!
This garland was super sparkly and it completed the decor on the table. Get one from Lilly Paul Designs.
Jelly Belly carries all sorts of jelly beans and in all colors! Check them out and match your jelly beans to your party theme perfectly! I bought the gummy sharks and salt water taffy from Sweeties Candy.
This was the “Drink Station”. I got the beautiful banner from Party and Home Design.
I decorated the forks with rhinestones……it’s all about the details my friends!
Girls enjoyed pizza, gold fish, fresh fruit, veggies and ranch, lemonade and blue fruit punch.
This was the table where the girls sat. I love the simple centerpieces I made with pink sand and some real sea shells I found at Goodwill. The blue tissue garland around each chair is from Petite Party Studio.
The number one activity at all of our parties is the pinata! You can buy one like this one from my mom’s etsy shop over at Party House Supplies.
Lillian Hope Designs created this activity page for the girls and they loved it!
This was the coolest photo booth. My friend Jenn who is super talented drew this for me like 2 days before the party….she rocks!!! The girls had a blast getting their photo taken.
Each little girl received one of these personalized buckets. They used it to put their candy in after breaking the pinata! I found them at Michael’s for $1.
Each girl got one of these pretty hair clips from Twirly Skirt Design on etsy.
How about some pretty mermaid chap stick? Yes please! Find these over at Nana’s Party Palace.
A sparkly wand for each girl from Pretti Mini Party Goods!
