Gingerbread Holiday Party

My youngest daughter Hannah is still into parties and I was super happy to let her host a simple party for her and two of her friends. They came over last Saturday to decorate gingerbread houses while I set up a cute hot cocoa bar for them!

I literally put this together in an hour and you could too! I had most of this decor in my storage outside.

The night before the party, we went to a few places to pick up what we needed. Hot cocoa, candy canes and marshmallows from Target, the mini bundt cakes are from Nothing Bundt Cakes, the silver tin basket is from Hobby Lobby and the clear hot cocoa mugs are from Oriental Trading (I’ve had those since last year).

This wood banner was a last minute find the night before at Hobby Lobby

My daughter Hannah picked out these yummy marshmallows, the ones on the left are “peppermint candy cane” flavor and the ones on the right are “cinnamon churro” flavor….yum!

Nothing Bundt Cakes has the best white chocolate raspberry cakes ever! I also found the toppers at their store…..I was so excited!

Under the hot cocoa bar cart I simply put some poinsettas I had around the house and some of my own foam decorations like the ones I sell in my etsy shop. The gingerbread man plates were a find at HomeGoods.

And if you’ve been following a while, you know that my mom makes the BEST pinatas!! We’ve had this one for a while but never used it. It was the perfect prop to add next to the bar cart!

Apparently something was super funny cause Hannah was cracking up but I love that I captured her laughs!

Happy holidays my friends! We sure love creating fun memories especially around this time of year!
