Sparkle & Shine Party

My oldest daughter Ashley turned 12 last October and I am finally posting her party…..oh how time flies! SHAME ON ME!! I absolutely adore this theme she picked out, “Sparkle & Shine”. She went with her favorite colors like the ones she has in her room, mint, gold and white.

I was able to partner with some fabulous girls to pull this party together!

My friend Misha from A Lovely Design created this beautiful custom invite and all the printables to match this party.

I created a backdrop with scrapbook paper in different colors and patterns….it really popped behind the desserts table. I also made the gold foam letters to spell SPARKLE & SHINE and you can find those in my etsy shop.

My pretty friend Krista from Hoopla Events sent me the cutest white ceramic dishes that spell “SWEETS” on the table.

Candy Buffet Table

All the matching gold, mint and white candy is from Oriental Trading….I love their variety and huge selection.

Cute mint boxes for the popcorn can be purchased at Oriental Trading as well.

Party Decorations

I love banners and had to make one in gold paper saying “Sparkle & Shine”…I hung it in front of the table and you can purchase one in my etsy shop as well.

I spray painted these numbers gold and if you’d like some, I am selling them in my etsy shop.

The cake oohhhh the cake is always my favorite!! and Inspired Sugar who has been working with me for many years always does a phenomenal job! They never disappoint….check out the cake pops too! My cake platters are from HomeGoods.

Table Setting

The girls sat at a round table where I put matching white elegant plates with mint ones on top and I rolled pretty gold silverware and made it fancy with a cute bow.

I made this quick centerpiece in like 10 mins with stuff I had laying around…. the cute ribbon on the centerpiece is from Hobby Lobby.

The girls enjoyed making gold slime for their activity and playing games.

Each little girl received a cute gold bag with slime that my daughters made. We tied a cute thank you card with a ribbon.

I hope you liked this party and I promise not to take this long to post another one of my parties….sigh…. life happens!
